The proportion of rivers meeting Good Ecological Status (GES) across the UK and Ireland is low - and is flatlining

Who: Over the last 50 years, the health of our rivers has rapidly deteriorated: less biodiversity, more dried-up rivers and more flooding. The Rivers Trust supports member trusts to help solve these problems, while advocating for real change to river health. We also inform and engage the public via campaigns and citizen science initiatives.
